Holy Land Pilgrimage 7 D & 6 N

Day 1: Tel-Aviv – Galilee

Arrival at Ben Gurion Airport.  Upon exiting the terminal you will be met by your guide and driver.  If time permits, you will visit the ancient port city of Caesarea Maritima before continuing your drive to your hotel in the Galilee for Check in.

Dinner and overnight in your hotel in Nazareth .

Day 1
Day 2

Day 2: Nazareth – Cana – Mt. Tabor

In the morning, you visit the Basilica of the Annunciation, starting with the Grotto of the Annunciation and the Church. Near by you will see the house of the Holy Family underneath the Church of St. Joseph. You will also visit Mary’s Well and the Synagogue.

In the afternoon, you will drive to Cana of Galilee to visit the wedding Church, where Jesus performed the first of his Miracles, changing water to wine. Here, there will be a Possibility of renewing your Wedding Vows. Then you continue your drive to Mount Tabor, the Mount of Transfiguration, and visit the beautiful Basilica and the rock under the altar where the Transfiguration took place.

Dinner and overnight in your hotel in Nazareth.

Day 3: The ministry of Christ in the Galilee

In the morning, you will drive to the Sea of Galilee to visit Capernaum.  Here you will visit the Church of St. Peter’s Memorial and the house of St. Peter and the Synagogue where the Lord preached. You will then continue your drive to Tabgha to see the splendid mosaic of the loaves and fishes, where Jesus fed the Five Thousand People. After that you will head towards Mt. of Beatitudes, where the Lord gave the Sermon on the mountain.  You will also enjoy a boat ride on the Sea of Galilee.

In the afternoon, you will visit Stella Maris, and Elijah's Cave before heading towards Jerusalem.

Day 3
Day 4

Day 4: Bethany – Jericho – Qumran – Masada – Dead Sea

Drive to Bethany (the village of Mary Martha and Lazarus ) to visit Lazarus' Tomb. Continue your drive along the Jordan Valley to Jericho. Visit the ancient city, Elisha's Spring, the Sycamore Tree, the New City and view of Mt. Temptation.

Afterwards you head to Qumran and visit the excavations of the Essean Monastery and the Cave of the Scrolls. Continue the drive to Masada and Dead Sea where you can float in its  mineral rich waters.

Dinner & overnight at your Hotel in Jerusalem.

Day 5: The Old City – Mt. of Olives

Today will be a full day of walking to visit the many sites and churches of the of the old city of Jerusalem. You will start by visiting the Temple Area to see the Western Wall, the Dome of the Rock, Al-Aqsa Mosque then head to the church of St. Anne and the pool of Bethesda. And you will trace the final footsteps of Jesus as you walk the Via Dolorosa and visiting the Churches of Flagellation, Ecce Homo, and The Holy Sepulcher.

In the afternoon, we will drive to Mount of Olives, and visit the Ascension Chapel, Pater Noster Church, Dominus Flevit, and the Church of Gethsemane.

Dinner & overnight at your Hotel in Jerusalem.

Day 5
Day 6

Day 6: Mt. Zion – Bethlehem – Ein Karem

In the morning, you will drive to Mount Zion to visit St. Peter in Gallicantu, The Cenacle (Upper Room), and the Dormition Abbey.

You then continue your drive to Bethlehem to visit the Basilica of Nativity, Chapel of St. Jerome, Milk Grotto, and the Shepherds Field.

In the afternoon, we will drive to the near-by village of Ein Karem to visit the Church of Visitation and Church of St. John the Baptist. You will end the day with a visit of the Israel Museum to see the Holy Land Model and the Dead Sea Scrolls.

Dinner & overnight at your Hotel in Jerusalem.

Day 7: Jerusalem -Home

Transfer to Ben Gurion Airport for the return flight home.
